In the 14thth minute of the game Steven Homan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Śrem Team's Christian Zangari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Magno in the 23rd minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Fc Śrem Team's Yorrick Zoethout threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milosz Pieprz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Fc Śrem Team's Feliks Mazurkiewicz got a free kick in the 27th minute. Zachariasz Maziarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yorrick Zoethout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Heerckes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Benny De Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Mios struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Yorrick Zoethout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Śrem Team. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachariasz Maziarz to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Zachariasz Maziarz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Śrem Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Zachariasz Maziarz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yorrick Zoethout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Maziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Śrem Team's Jacek Krzynowek was substituted for Alejandro Magno. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Śrem Team's Zachariasz Maziarz. But to his dismay, Zachariasz Maziarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 70th match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix van As to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Zangari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Steven Homan sped through Fc Śrem Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Zangari. In the 88th minute Wasyl Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Malik in the 90th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
