In the 2nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sartori to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SV Balverliefd booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wei Le Fei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match Sporting Buceo got a corner. SV Balverliefd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Sartori ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sporting Buceo's corner Rainier Gregoire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yorrick Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Duro Back in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SV Balverliefd's Philippe-Arnaud Van Cleijnenbreugel. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Lisandro Heerckes with Steven Homan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 23rd minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainier Gregoire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yorrick Zoethout made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue. But to his dismay, Isaias Jakue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sporting Buceo's Juan Sartori managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lisandro Heerckes in the 35 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SV Balverliefd's Melker Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Isaias Jakue blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Zoethout having to make a save. After the first half Sporting Buceo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Jakue was the one to do the kick off. When Virgil Lindelöf came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Lindelöf couldn't finish the play. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xinto Carreiras replaced Filimon Gamburtsev. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Maureen Franco replaced Isaias Jakue. If Felix van As had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wei Le Fei kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureen Franco in the 79th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melker Gudmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Xinto Carreiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Yorrick Zoethout made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 93rd minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Xinto Carreiras came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Buceo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
