When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Damazy Joks took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dariusz Bielejewski to make any attempt to save it. 32 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Ong Bongo came free, but Gigel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damazy Joks was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Walery Glapiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Glapiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Bielejewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
