Gigel Botescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KS Olimpia Warszawa's zone, Mateo Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Botescu came out of the goal and Mateo Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Gigel Botescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 21st minute of play. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Tolek Wojtyna got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gigel Botescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Napoleon Jajko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 32nd minute of the match. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Fabiano Carneiro replaced Lachezar Tetevenski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Joks in the 40th minute of play forced Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Napoleon Jajko managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateo Palacio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manfred Hönisch charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manfred Hönisch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Murillo Cedeno replaced Tolek Wojtyna. 56 minutes into the game, one of Zjem Cię:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Jajko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Arkadiusz Smuskiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes, Zjem Cię's Olgierd Cempa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigel Botescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zjem Cię reached it. A throw-in in the 66th minute of the game was made by Zhu Cheng Guo with Damazy Joks as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mateo Palacio in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigel Botescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 71 minutes in the game Iwo Cwynar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mateo Palacio. If Damazy Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damazy Joks struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Napoleon Jajko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. In the 85th minute of the match KS Olimpia Warszawa got a corner. Zjem Cię's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walery Glapiak ran over to the corner to take the kick. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. Zjem Cię's Lino Orešar was substituted for Jim Morrison. Napoleon Jajko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sharma Sharma went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Sharma Sharma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Jajko. Zjem Cię's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sharma Sharma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4.
