Leopold Nael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joosep Taevere in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Fernandino in the 33rd minute of play forced Verhulitsa's goalkeeper Leopold Nael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Torbjörn Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verhulitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Verhulitsa's Torbjörn Eriksson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Freixa. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Verhulitsa were awarded a corner. Marti Voltri went to the cornerflag to take it. Verhulitsa's Leopold Nael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 43rd minute of play. If Torbjörn Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Mart Agu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Mart Agu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Francisco Gallo hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Eriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leopold Nael made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Eduardo Fontirroig sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Verhulitsa's Riivo Kelder got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Alfredo Ferrant hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Torbjörn Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marti Voltri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Torbjörn Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verhulitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Eriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Torbjörn Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Leopold Nael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. In the 80th minute, Marti Voltri made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mart Agu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verhulitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mart Agu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mart Agu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Torbjörn Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verhulitsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Mart Agu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verhulitsa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
