Maarek Nõmme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 26th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maarek Nõmme. Maarek Nõmme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Väino Karbo, made in the 34th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maarek Nõmme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maarek Nõmme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the FC Raasiku Kõrid defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maarek Nõmme. The FC Raasiku Kõrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maarek Nõmme should have stopped the shot. Maarek Nõmme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, FC Raasiku Kõrid's Maarek Nõmme got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarek Nõmme having to interfere. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maarek Nõmme came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 74th minute.
