But to his dismay, Teofilo Yerro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Yerro in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Amorebieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gremengo FCCMZ were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after FC Les Corts's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Macedo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo Macedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomás Amorebieta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Gere in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Amorebieta saved FC Les Corts from getting behind. Tomás Amorebieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Gere in the 26th minute of the match. FC Les Corts's Patrik Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gremengo FCCMZ's Teobald Pazura suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. Michel Rubio's late challenge caught a Gremengo FCCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. Gremengo FCCMZ made a substitution. Raphael Hoffmann replaced Teobald Pazura. Michel Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Richard Gere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, FC Les Corts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Rubio to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes of play, Gremengo FCCMZ's Richard Gere made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomás Amorebieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 36 minutes, Leonardo Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremengo FCCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Raphael Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Amorebieta. FC Les Corts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphael Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Gremengo FCCMZ's Leonardo Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Les Corts defense, Teofilo Yerro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Amorebieta. The FC Les Corts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Amorebieta should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes FC Les Corts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonardo Macedo who took care of the corner kick. Gremengo FCCMZ's Leonardo Macedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Amorebieta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Gremengo FCCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Whelpton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cedro Ruiz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 54 minutes, Teofilo Yerro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremengo FCCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Yerro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC Les Corts fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when FC Les Corts's Edward Whelpton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 64 minutes, 罗树夕 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edinho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Whelpton, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Gere got free with Tomás Amorebieta in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play FC Les Corts's Michel Rubio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Michel Rubio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 94th play minutes Teofilo Yerro shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Tomás Amorebieta and just under the crossbar into goal. Gremengo FCCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
