The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdzislaw Kręcina got free with Edinho Neto in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Alexander Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Gremengo FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Juan Arrelucea. In the 66th match minute, Gremengo FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Yerro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Yerro scored 1-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cícero Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A nice corner shot did that Szymon Lipa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edinho Neto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90thth minute of the game Teofilo Yerro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emeryt Sosnowiec's Cícero Palmeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Ciemiega charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Ciemiega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the game, one of Emeryt Sosnowiec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Gremengo FCCMZ's Uriel Bermudez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cícero Palmeira. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gremengo FCCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
