The supporters of Gasca Nebuna booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Iftode didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dawid Kochowski in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petre Iftode in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Carmichael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Kochowski in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gasca Nebuna's Jeff Beck got a free kick in the 12th minute. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Iftode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Primitivo Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Carmichael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Kochowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 33rd minute of play forced Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper Bill Carmichael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Dawid Kochowski sent off a good shot on target. Bill Carmichael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Gasca Nebuna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petre Iftode took the corner. Stasio Bienienda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bill Carmichael firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bill Carmichael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Gasca Nebuna defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bill Carmichael. The Gasca Nebuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bill Carmichael should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
