Constantino Salgado made a great header on PERSPOLIS's corner, it was just that AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer managed to reach the ball for a save. 8 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Arnau came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes PERSPOLIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kai Havertz who took care of the corner kick. AFC FUSION's Kai Havertz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Facundo Feria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Fiszer having to interfere. PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Txindoki in the 13th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Guido Txindoki. But to his dismay, Guido Txindoki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Guido Txindoki scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Arnau in the 20th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Myles Powderham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Ganix in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojciech Fiszer saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cipriano Ganix put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wojciech Fiszer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Arnau in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match, Facundo Feria tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wojciech Fiszer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The nice shot from Cipriano Ganix in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Wojciech Fiszer had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Aureliano Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Magnus Svanér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Svanér hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, AFC FUSION's Kai Havertz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gianluigi Donnarumma. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Arnau got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When AFC FUSION's Guido Txindoki in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERSPOLIS's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over AFC FUSION could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PERSPOLIS throughout the match.
