The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to AMLUCHO getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leonel Venerando hit a great ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Burt Gruer made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Can Sadov. If Kerim Altunbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. AMLUCHO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerim Altunbaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selahaddin Esentürk made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Starri Ööpik sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burt Gruer during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 59thth minute of the game Kerim Altunbaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AMLUCHO's attentive Leonel Venerando managed to snatch the ball when Burt Gruer made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. Edvaldo Gaspar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nélson Sousa's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Edvaldo Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Kerim Altunbaş sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edvaldo Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AMLUCHO's Miguel Vilarinho was substituted for Oğuzcan Lami. After taking down the ball on AMLUCHO's corner Jackie Banks fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edvaldo Gaspar quite easily take care of the ball. Frenchville Sports Club's Edvaldo Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them.
