André Luís Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV's André Luís Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantino Salgado in the 11th minute. Angelo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Ganix in the 15th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Martins in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, PERSPOLIS's Bela Herrero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Velasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Velasco came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Constantino Salgado. But to his dismay, Constantino Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Angelo Velasco made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cipriano Ganix sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Myles Powderham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bela Herrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luís Martins struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Futbol Club RRFV. Futbol Club RRFV's 洪延广 got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Facundo Feria made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma got control of the ball when 洪延广 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Futbol Club RRFV's attack was well implemented in the 58th minute, but when Fausto Vimaro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Vimaro in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
