With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Millano in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaap van der Schans saved Westenenk from getting behind. After 15 minutes Westenenk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugurel Ghiță who took care of the corner kick. Jaap van der Schans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idar Dyrstad in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Silvanito came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Westenenk's corner Wieslaw Posadzki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Máximo Portero quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Westenenk's Japke Sturm got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Amelie FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
