Westenenk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Posadzki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juliusz Julku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaap van der Schans having to interfere. A collision led to Gasca Nebuna getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dylan Boegaert hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Juliusz Julku kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaap van der Schans. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Bill Carmichael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valio Tammisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondang Prabowo in the 35th minute of play. The Westenenk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaap van der Schans should have stopped the shot. Jaap van der Schans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juliusz Julku went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valio Tammisto made a kick off. When Gasca Nebuna's Dawid Kochowski in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
