Westenenk's Jaap van der Schans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Topolski in the 15th minute of play. Filip Hansma's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Hansma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Westenenk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Hansma to maneuver through the defense. Westenenk's Valio Tammisto got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leripe Lifestyle's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juan-Carlos Cervantes in the 37th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ringo Bonavent advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 37th minute. After 40 played minutes Westenenk got a freekick which was hit by Aktaç Tansan. Aktaç Tansan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Paredes Soberano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westenenk. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franciszek Topolski to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valio Tammisto in the 53rd minute of play forced Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper Paredes Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaap van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan-Carlos Cervantes in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Carlos Cervantes came free, but Jaap van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Westenenk booed when Leripe Lifestyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Pernambucano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Juan-Carlos Cervantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leripe Lifestyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Carlos Cervantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaap van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Valio Tammisto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Soberano was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Westenenk were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Leripe Lifestyle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eddy van den Eede took the corner. The corner ended in Filip Hansma almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leripe Lifestyle's Paredes Soberano did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, Westenenk's goalkeeper Jaap van der Schans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan-Carlos Cervantes. The supporters of Leripe Lifestyle booed when Westenenk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Hansma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Westenenk's zone, Juan-Carlos Cervantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaap van der Schans came out of the goal and Juan-Carlos Cervantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
