With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Lindström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes Timmy Henriksson could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 2-0 into the left cross. Timmy Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lindström having to interfere. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Surahammar got a corner. Samurai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Fristedt ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Samurai's goalie and right to Vincent Benett. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Samurai's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The throw-in from Casemiro Joinvilense in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samurai's Alto Wing. In the 35th minute of the match, Alto Wing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Lindström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxim Tsigalko. Vincent Benett scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vince Di Cola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Bivall in the 44th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Hernán Grana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samurai and the Surahammar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hernán Grana kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxim Tsigalko to strike the kick off in the second half. Samurai's Alto Wing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Casemiro Joinvilense, made in the 53rd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Surahammar's zone, Timmy Henriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Lindström came out of the goal and Timmy Henriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Benett in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Surahammar were awarded a corner. Billy Fristedt went to the cornerflag to take it. Samurai's Wu Qi was substituted for Maxim Tsigalko. Surahammar made a substitution. André Pettersson replaced Radamel Oakley. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. In the 67th minute of the game Casemiro Joinvilense made a throw-in which André Pettersson played forward. Vince Di Cola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Benett in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, André Pettersson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vince Di Cola. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 84th minute Wu Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Qi in the 85th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wu Qi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Lindström was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Casemiro Joinvilense hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Wu Qi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surahammar's Jan Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Samurai defense, Adrian Kodzhabashev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Di Cola. The Samurai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Di Cola should have stopped the shot. In the 98th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Vassenius to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
