Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Drew in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Hermansson came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Jerry Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdi Revis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 37th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Selmo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brazilio Butt. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hermansson in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Mutumba got free with Brazilio Butt in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Gudmundsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 46th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Verhoeven hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Nordlander was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Mats Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brazilio Butt. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brazilio Butt should have stopped the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso was substituted for Martin Mutumba. In the 78th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Berart, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Saul Drew took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Marcus Ekrot to make any attempt to save it.
