An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Kjellberg in the 7th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Mikael Liberatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Åke Källberg made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mikael Liberatore sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Torgny Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Landin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Tunberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Wargön got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bayan Baye ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wargön's Bayan Baye was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 34th minute of play. Torgny Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sören Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Liberatore in the 37th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Maxime Poussin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Mikael Liberatore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens-Åke Källberg. Mikael Liberatore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Landin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Wargön got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bayan Baye ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bayan Baye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jens-Åke Källberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Buba, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Wargön's Ivar Siöberg was substituted for Mikael Liberatore. In the 63rd minute, Niklas Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Torgny Landin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Edvard Dusett replaced Jan Höijer. Sören Tunberg came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Siöberg in the 84th minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torgny Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sören Tunberg made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Siöberg came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Ivar Siöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jens-Åke Källberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Boca Juniors players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Wargön from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
