Surahammar's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 5th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Wolffram Lobo in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Surahammar's Mark Brovall. Allan Bivall kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Wu Qi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Lindström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes in the game Wolffram Lobo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hernán Grana. 41 minutes into the match, Victor Santxol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vince Di Cola. Samurai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Santxol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wu Qi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Surahammar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samurai:s goal. Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Wu Qi sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the game, Wolffram Lobo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Surahammar's Mark Brovall quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Samurai players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
