The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Sundström in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 31st minute of play. Zdzislaw Liermann hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Yin Yun Fan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sören Tunberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Sören Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lars Sundström made the kick off in the second half. FC Kurdistan's Keefer Carragher quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Artur Buba, made in the 51st minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Wargön's Mikael Liberatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alaaddin Solskjær narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars Sundström in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sören Tunberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wargön made a substitution. Nils-Arne Nilsson replaced Iwan Czeberowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Hybbert got free with Sören Tunberg in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wargön's Ivar Siöberg in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kurdistan's goalie prevented a goal. Fredric Hybbert scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Tunberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wargön's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
