In the 3rd minute 孔桦珂 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zafer Hürsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zafer Hürsel came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Honung's 孔桦珂. But to his dismay, 孔桦珂 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Håkan Kjellman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Honung's Aristide Beșliu. Aristide Beșliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Snell got free with Aristide Beșliu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honung's Aristide Beșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Ekeroth in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Honung's Aristide Beșliu got control of the ball when Håkan Kjellman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, 孔桦珂 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zafer Hürsel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 45th minute, Peter Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Zafer Hürsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lertora, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Zafer Hürsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lertora in the 88th minute of play. Simon Lertora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zafer Hürsel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. The Honung players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Zenit Saint Petersburg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
