Brazilio Butt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bayan Baye went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Drew in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Bayan Baye took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Brazilio Butt to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, Artur Buba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sören Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Brazilio Butt stood somewhat misplaced when Bayan Baye came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Mikael Liberatore might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brazilio Butt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Liberatore ran back to his position shaking his head. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayan Baye in the 38th minute of play. Mikael Liberatore took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brazilio Butt. Brazilio Butt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Wargön's Sören Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Kormos in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's Pál Kormos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Tunberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Nordlander was the one to do the kick off. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayan Baye in the 55th minute of play. Sören Tunberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerry Jonasson in the 60th minute. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Liberatore's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Mikael Liberatore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brazilio Butt. DIF LEEDS BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikael Liberatore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson was substituted for Iwan Czeberowski. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mikael Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wargön's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Liberatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
