The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Arne Nilsson got free with Jens-Åke Källberg in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Wargön's Nils-Arne Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Åke Källberg. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Della in the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Beturian in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Tunberg saved Wargön from getting behind. Sören Tunberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Nils-Arne Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torgny Landin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nils-Arne Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Källberg was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Sören Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Landin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wargön made a substitution. In the 85th minute, Mikael Liberatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargön fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Mikael Liberatore took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Landin in the 95th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wargön's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
