Kind of Blue were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Golden Lions FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joacim Hansson took the corner. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Marcelo Steven went to the cornerflag to take it. Golden Lions FC's Georg Termander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilhelm Galle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Golden Lions FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Golden Lions FC's Georg Termander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 32nd minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kind of Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Sebastian Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal and Sebastian Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Loco Durazno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, İbrahim Efe Topdemir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilhelm Galle. Kind of Blue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İbrahim Efe Topdemir was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After having played for 63 minutes, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Durazno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Efe Topdemir in the 72nd minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kind of Blue's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joakim Haegg was slow to take the kick. During this time Golden Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilhelm Galle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 81st minute, Joel Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burç Tokhan in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Golden Lions FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Arne Tönnberg hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Sebastian Käller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kind of Blue fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
