Argyris Papapetrou took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Åke Källberg. Jens-Åke Källberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 21st minute Charlie Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamid Dame made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karl-Michael Kristiansson however managed to control. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Strömsbro IF's Charlie Beck. But to his dismay, Charlie Beck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Mao Jun Yun came free, but Jens-Åke Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Hallgren got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Karl-Michael Kristiansson. In the 41st match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Hallgren to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Niklas Kjellberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lukas Hallgren in the 44 minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antti Ani to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Charlie Beck made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Per-Åke Lundberg in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Landin in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Torgny Landin notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan. Rıza Vuralhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boca Juniors's Edvard Dusett was substituted for Jan Höijer. A throw-in in the 80th minute of the game was made by Argyris Papapetrou with Antti Ani as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özkan Kayaer in the 82nd minute of play. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argyris Papapetrou. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Münir Salih got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 94 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Dusett. Mao Jun Yun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens-Åke Källberg. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Strömsbro IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Hallgren to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Boca Juniors's Vilhelm Holm tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Boca Juniors were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Strömsbro IF for a fine match.
