After 40 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 78th minute FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner. Yin Yun Fan went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over FC Kurdistan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wargön throughout the match.
