After 19 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Lindström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rdth minute of the game Argyris Papapetrou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Surahammar's Jan Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Radamel Oakley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Beck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Beck in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel Oakley came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
