A well done corner resulted in Igor Dzierwa drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper. If Lars Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Erhard Esbo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Golden Lions FC's Joschi Hook quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Sundström in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 39th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Loco Durazno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loco Durazno made a kick off. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström. But to his dismay, Lars Sundström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 54 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebben Johansson. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Lions FC's zone, Emanuel Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Lundqvist came out of the goal and Emanuel Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Kurdistan's Paul Falkrans was substituted for Emanuel Åström. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Jörgen Levander replaced Lars Sundström. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Loco Durazno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Björn Björkqvist got a free kick in the 66th minute. Golden Lions FC's Mats Nyström was substituted for Georg Termander. Keefer Carragher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, İbrahim Efe Topdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but İbrahim Efe Topdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alaaddin Solskjær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Fredric Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anders Lundqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jörgen Levander went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score.
