After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Benji Corby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorking United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benji Corby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dylan Pearce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Karl Fletcher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Zack Bye made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 26th minute Zack Bye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Zack Bye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Zack Bye capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zack Bye really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zack Bye showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Bye came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zack Bye was the one to do the kick off. Dorking United FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
