Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cristo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Joel Tiniebra got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Efrain Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Jaime Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 54 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristo Elivareo. Barrialito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 56 minutes, Jaime Celio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrialito AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Jaime Celio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Ecuador's Antonio Arias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristo Elivareo. Cristo Elivareo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristo Elivareo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrialito AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Celio to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Cristo Elivareo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito AFC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Elivareo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Cristo Elivareo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
