Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Rui Fontes scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Migalha S.C.'s Rui Fontes. But to his dismay, Rui Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 16th minute, Atilano Haitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 3-0. Migalha S.C. were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chrisostomos Kazantzas took the corner. If Arnold Fink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 25 minutes, Chrisostomos Kazantzas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Migalha S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Chrisostomos Kazantzas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Migalha S.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Haitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Rui Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 68 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. Atilano Haitz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Migalha S.C.. 76 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Haitz came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Haitz in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Frois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Chrisostomos Kazantzas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Migalha S.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
