Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Agustin Barrantes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Lobo in the 3rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustin Barrantes in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Barrantes in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Agustin Barrantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Rodrigo Lobo scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. In the 35th minute, Agustin Barrantes made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rodrigo Lobo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Agustin Barrantes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Lobo in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Ernesto Monge in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Mainor Coronado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mainor Coronado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Volio in the 63rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Monge having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Barrantes in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 74th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Barrantes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Barrantes in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Lobo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Barrantes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Barrantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CS La Libertad's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Monge came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Miguel Volio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS La Libertad's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Volio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Monge was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 5-1.
