Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bektaş Tekcan to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TAKTAKSPOR's zone, Lütfü Tokuşhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 55 played minutes Diyadin got a freekick which was hit by Cihat Bozer. TAKTAKSPOR's Bektaş Tekcan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind TAKTAKSPOR's goalkeeper Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ufuk Tuncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, TAKTAKSPOR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Altuğ Akbatu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Şükrü Cemşit kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ufuk Tuncal in the 74th minute of play forced Diyadin's goalkeeper Timur Hakan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, TAKTAKSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egemen Çiltay to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Lütfü Tokuşhan took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu to make any attempt to save it. If Lütfü Tokuşhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Diyadin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAKTAKSPOR the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Diyadin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihat Bozer to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Diyadin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
