Timur Hakan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rahmi Çapan, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes in the game, Altuğ Akbatu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Şener Özan having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Yakup Tecer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VUK359 and the Diyadin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, VUK359 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakup Tecer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in VUK359's zone, Altuğ Akbatu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şener Özan came out of the goal and Altuğ Akbatu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to VUK359 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Birant Ciner hit a great ball. If Altuğ Akbatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altuğ Akbatu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şener Özan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Rahmi Çapan managed to get in a good position for a shot. VUK359's supporters rose to their feet, but Rahmi Çapan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timur Hakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Altuğ Akbatu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şener Özan. VUK359's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Altuğ Akbatu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lütfü Tokuşhan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 35 minutes into the game, Rahmi Çapan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VUK359's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diyadin the free kick. Diyadin's Lütfü Tokuşhan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lütfü Tokuşhan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, VUK359's Anıl Ülke got a free kick in the 50th minute. When Diyadin's Altuğ Akbatu in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VUK359's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Altuğ Akbatu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VUK359's Şener Özan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haydar Hallaç's late challenge caught a Diyadin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haydar Hallaç helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to VUK359 getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Haydar Hallaç hit a great ball. Genco Tayfun struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Timur Hakan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VUK359. 81 minutes into the match, Lütfü Tokuşhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şener Özan. VUK359's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lütfü Tokuşhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 85 minutes into the match, VUK359's Genco Tayfun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timur Hakan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Altuğ Akbatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diyadin's Timur Hakan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birant Ciner in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genco Tayfun in the 95th minute of play forced Diyadin's goalkeeper Timur Hakan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
