Jairo Ferdinand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Sutura's Zeledon Udalaitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Ferdinand. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Zeledon Udalaitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Ferdinand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hermengildo Dubardo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Bartolo Paublo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Ferdinand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, Bartolo Paublo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Ferdinand. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Paublo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 27 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Jairo Ferdinand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Elorri. In the 28th minute of the match Sutura got a corner. Diablos Rojos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartolo Paublo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hermengildo Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Bartolo Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Peterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Udalaitz in the 33rd minute of the match. When Arnaldo Cloyo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Arnaldo Cloyo a yellow card for diving instead. Zeledon Udalaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Ferdinand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Udalaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arnaldo Cloyo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Arnaldo Cloyo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Diablos Rojos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Zeledon Udalaitz scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Ferdinand, making the score, 5-0. Fu Zheng Ke hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rolando Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Ilazki in the 41st minute of play. Sutura's Rolando Sanchez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Ilazki in the 44th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Bartolo Paublo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sutura's Bartolo Paublo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Ferdinand. That made the score 6-0 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Paublo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Paublo in the 54th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Jairo Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Paublo in the 55th minute of play. Sutura were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Diablos Rojos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartolo Paublo took the corner. Bartolo Paublo made a great header on Sutura's corner, it was just that Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Zeledon Udalaitz notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand. Jairo Ferdinand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Paublo came free, but Jairo Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Bartolo Paublo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sutura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 70 played minutes Sutura got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Elorri. After 72 played minutes, Sutura's Emilio Mazuste shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jairo Ferdinand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sutura reached it. After a rather tough play, Sutura's Fu Zheng Ke got a free kick in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Paublo came free, but Jairo Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Sutura's Bartolo Paublo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sutura's goalkeeper Rolando Sanchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sutura's Bartolo Paublo in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diablos Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. Agustin Elorri took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Ferdinand. Jairo Ferdinand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Zeledon Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute, Zeledon Udalaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Paublo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Bartolo Paublo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Bartolo Paublo put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jairo Ferdinand.
