Ufuk Tuncals short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Jairo Ferdinand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Teo Ilazki came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Ilazki couldn't finish the play. Simon Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cloyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diablos Rojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAKTAKSPOR the free kick. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Arnaldo Cloyo got a free kick in the 15th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when TAKTAKSPOR's Bektaş Tekcan in the 23rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jairo Ferdinand was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Diablos Rojos through an amazing save. Teo Ilazki took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu. Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Diablos Rojos's Teo Ilazki got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ufuk Tuncal got free with Jairo Ferdinand in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the TAKTAKSPOR defense, Simon Lizer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu. The TAKTAKSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Teo Ilazki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Jairo Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Tekcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bektaş Tekcan was the one to do the kick off. Ufuk Tuncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Ufuk Tuncal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu having to interfere. Arnaldo Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Simon Lizer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ahmet Davut İlhanoğlu. Simon Lizer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Ufuk Tuncal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. In the 74th minute Ufuk Tuncal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş Tekcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when TAKTAKSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkın Alanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Diablos Rojos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
