Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rowan Avery to make the kick off. Barry Dawson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arnaldo Cloyo sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Rowan Avery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Rowan Avery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Ferdinand. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rowan Avery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
