Saverio Tallia started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Argina in the 8th minute of play forced Deportivo Perla Norte's goalkeeper Tomás Haritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Tallia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Ferdinand having to make a save. Saverio Tallia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Ferdinand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 11 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Lucian. In the 14th minute, Saverio Tallia made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Ferdinand. Diablos Rojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Paulino Argina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Simon Lizer fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Simon Lizer a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hermengildo Dubardo hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Andres Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Saverio Tallia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Tallia in the 31st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Primitivo Jokin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Ferdinand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute, Deportivo Perla Norte's Saverio Tallia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Ferdinand. Jairo Ferdinand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 39th minute, Saverio Tallia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Ferdinand was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Deportivo Perla Norte getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Danilo Florinio hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Argina was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Tallia in the 66th minute of play. When Saverio Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Deportivo Perla Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Tallia couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Paulino Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Haritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Haritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Servando during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Perla Norte getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Daniel Servando hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Perla Norte's Daniel Servando got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Deportivo Perla Norte made a substitution. Ovidio Marques replaced Angel Baraquiel. After 83 played minutes Deportivo Perla Norte got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Servando. Jacinto Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Saverio Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Tallia in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Deportivo Perla Norte's Saverio Tallia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Diablos Rojos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
