Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pocklington FC's Rowan Avery started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Rowan Avery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timur Hakan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Rowan Avery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timur Hakan having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Daryl Bannister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pocklington FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diyadin the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pocklington FC's Daryl Bannister got a free kick in the 9th minute. Timur Hakan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Fitter, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Timur Hakan made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bill Fitter sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pocklington FC's Daryl Bannister got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Pocklington FC defense, Ramiz Yazır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barry Dawson. The Pocklington FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barry Dawson should have stopped the shot. Pocklington FC's Bill Fitter came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Timur Hakan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Diyadin's Timur Hakan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowan Avery in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diyadin's goalkeeper Timur Hakan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Rowan Avery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pocklington FC's Bill Fitter came free and shot a quick shot against goal 37 minutes in the game, fortunately Timur Hakan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Barry Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhan Tecimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cebrail Gürtuna fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diyadin's protests and gave Cebrail Gürtuna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pocklington FC booed when Diyadin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cebrail Gürtuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiz Yazır made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Rowan Avery notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Diyadin's Timur Hakan. Timur Hakan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rowan Avery came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pocklington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowan Avery couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bill Fitter in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timur Hakan saved Diyadin from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Ercan Şükran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Diyadin's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Fitter came free, but Timur Hakan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lütfü Tokuşhan in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barry Dawson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rowan Avery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timur Hakan having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cihat Bozer during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Diyadin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihat Bozer to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Diyadin's goal looked a bit too open when Rowan Avery came free, but Timur Hakan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Lütfü Tokuşhan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barry Dawson, passed just outside the right post. In the 77th minute Bill Fitter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timur Hakan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Diyadin's goal looked a bit too open when Bill Fitter came free, but Timur Hakan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rowan Avery took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timur Hakan. Timur Hakan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, Pocklington FC's Barry Dawson got control of the ball when Ferhan Tecimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Diyadin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ercan Şükran hit a great ball. Lütfü Tokuşhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Barry Dawson made a huge save.
