Jacinto Celipe kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bartolo Paublo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jairo Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sutura. In the 6th minute, Jacinto Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Sanchez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hermengildo Dubardo. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Hermengildo Dubardo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Jacinto Rosio's late challenge caught a Sutura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Rosio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sutura booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Rosio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jairo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Paublo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Ferdinand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Froilan Lucian came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Lucian couldn't finish the play. Rolando Sanchez made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Simon Lizer sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Diablos Rojos booed when Sutura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Jacinto Rosio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eduardo Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Jorrin during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Luciano Jorrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Sutura's Bartolo Paublo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Jairo Ferdinand came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Sutura's Agustin Elorri. But to his dismay, Agustin Elorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Rolando Sanchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lizer in the 55th minute of play. Bartolo Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jairo Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Bartolo Paublo made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Diablos Rojos's Jairo Ferdinand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eduardo Garcia hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Simon Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rolando Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Jairo Ferdinand managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Sutura's Bartolo Paublo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Elorri in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Sutura's Jacinto Celipe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bartolo Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sutura's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Paublo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Ferdinand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Sutura's Bartolo Paublo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Ferdinand stood somewhat misplaced when Bartolo Paublo came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 84 minute. Rolando Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Lizer in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sutura's goalkeeper Rolando Sanchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Sutura got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Donzel. After 95 minutes, Agustin Elorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sutura and the Diablos Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Elorri hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Sutura played a much better game than Diablos Rojos and deserved their victory. The Diablos Rojos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
