But to his dismay, Paulino Argina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 13th minute when Paulino Argina elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Diablos Rojos's Simon Lizer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bihar Ribacoba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Argina in the 22nd minute of play forced CF Coro's goalkeeper Bihar Ribacoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diablos Rojos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Rosio in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Argina in the 43rd minute of play forced CF Coro's goalkeeper Bihar Ribacoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CF Coro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Diablos Rojos were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Argina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CF Coro's Bihar Ribacoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save CF Coro from getting a goal against them. Paulino Argina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bihar Ribacoba came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulino Argina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. Servando Carriles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Ferdinand having to make a save. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servando Carriles in the 65th minute of play. Froilan Lucian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bihar Ribacoba made a huge save. CF Coro's Guilherme Borroel got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Guilherme Borroel off the ground. After 70 played minutes CF Coro got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Borroel. Bihar Ribacoba made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Simon Lizer sent off a good shot on target. Bihar Ribacoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. CF Coro's Bihar Ribacoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save CF Coro from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CF Coro's Elia Preciado got a free kick in the 89th minute. The CF Coro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diablos Rojos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
