The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sílvio Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golaki Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Horácio Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Couto. Uno Mille FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 14 minutes of play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Horácio Gonçalves made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Uno Mille FC defense, Horácio Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Couto. The Uno Mille FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Couto should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sílvio Couto. Sílvio Couto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. After 23 minutes, Claudinho Queiroz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jataiense Futebol Clube and the Uno Mille FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Golaki Goiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sílvio Couto. That made the score 6-0 in the 27 minute of play. Claudinho Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Uno Mille FC's Sílvio Couto got control of the ball when Golaki Goiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. Horácio Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Claudinho Queiroz scored 8-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dudu de Sena to make the kick off. When Jataiense Futebol Clube's Claudinho Queiroz in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when Uno Mille FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Dudu de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uno Mille FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Golaki Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Sílvio Couto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golaki Goiano in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Claudinho Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Claudinho Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 88thth minute of the game Golaki Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uno Mille FC's Sílvio Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Golaki Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Linares to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golaki Goiano in the 92nd minute of the match.
