Peanut Lord scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Azeari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Severiano Fresco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zorion Carić. That made the score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. Peanut Lord took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Azeari. Donato Azeari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 43 minutes of play, Slipmaskinerna's Peanut Lord made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Azeari was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peanut Lord to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Leonides Caradaro got a free kick in the 51st minute.
