Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) WBF's Luckas Oliviers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, WBF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Strömbom to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luckas Olivierss short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Luckas Oliviers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Per-Arne Möllgren. 33 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Luckas Oliviers came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, WBF's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Isac Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Sundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, WBF's Arto Suslik got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Isac Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, WBF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Holmstedt to maneuver through the defense. WBF made a substitution. Robin Blomkvist replaced Per-Olof Strömbom. After a rather tough play, WBF's Nils-Emil Holmstedt got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 75th minute, Luckas Oliviers made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. WBF made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 83rd minute of play forced WBF's goalkeeper Isac Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Isac Haström made a huge save. In the 86th match minute, WBF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. WBF made a substitution. Arne Bjursell replaced Luckas Oliviers. After a rather tough play, WBF's Sivert Zachrisson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Isac Haström was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alan Moruga. 96 minutes into the match, Arne Bjursell notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
