Marcelino Atarrabi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelino Atarrabi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelino Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match RED BULL MILANO TEAM got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludomil Watarz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭镇冰, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Atarrabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelino Atarrabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Atarrabi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marcelino Atarrabi made a huge save. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 彭镇冰's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When 彭镇冰 came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the RED BULL MILANO TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 彭镇冰 couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marcelino Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcelino Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, RED BULL MILANO TEAM's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. In the 78th minute, Torleif Drusebjerg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Atarrabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭镇冰 in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marcelino Atarrabi made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Atarrabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The RED BULL MILANO TEAM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
