After 5 minutes of play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 10th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florian Capasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Florian Capasso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Florian Capasso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Pliego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florian Capasso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 28th minute, Fabian Meleșcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to make a save. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Florian Capasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florian Capasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Indiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Hélder Fonseca replaced Florian Capasso. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Geovani Mangueira was substituted for Anderson Vidal. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Fabrício Fernandes replaced Fábio Trevisan. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Casaus got free with Mauro-Facundo Buffon in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Fellipe Capixaba hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 92nd minute, Marcinho Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Merusca F&P - CIMZ had won after a very even match.
