Borys Lanczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Heintje Alemasov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sawino SA's Borys Lanczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Sawino SA from getting a goal against them. Felix Montenegro came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Borys Lanczak could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Heintje Alemasov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Heintje Alemasov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Sawino SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 74thth minute of the game Heintje Alemasov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Min Eta, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heintje Alemasov in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Luis Andino made a precise shot to the right of Borys Lanczak. Sawino SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Borys Lanczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sawino SA throughout the match.
