The Curacao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to CAIW getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zilar Castelo hit a great ball. Victoriano Galdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyle Davies went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of CAIW booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zilar Castelo in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Cavadas in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CAIW's Victoriano Galdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Davies in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CAIW's Lopez Sociats got a free kick in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Méndez Orgaz got free with Bruno Barrett in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Galdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Hector Cavadas made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Stanley Wallace managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanley Wallace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Galdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanley Wallace took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Galdo. Victoriano Galdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Kyle Davies notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of CAIW's Victoriano Galdo. Victoriano Galdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Cavadas to make the kick off. Stanley Wallace took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Galdo. Victoriano Galdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 55th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zilar Castelo in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Méndez Orgaz came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanley Wallace to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Méndez Orgaz in the 65th minute of play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Méndez Orgaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Méndez Orgaz took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Troy Kennedy hit a great ball. Zilar Castelo scored 4-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victoriano Galdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Owen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Although CAIW had been in control for most of the match, Curacao still came away with the win.
