In the 84thth minute of the game Albertinho Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lino Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -BZF- Petrolul Berca throughout the match.
