An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play forced TÜRKİSTAN 61's goalkeeper Derman Akdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Veevo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zdzislaw Trynda was slow to take the kick. During this time TÜRKİSTAN 61's players had a chance to rest. Alex Chicote tried in the 18th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Jonathan Ferrant a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Mario Veevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Derman Akdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, one of TÜRKİSTAN 61:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 36th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Mario Veevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TÜRKİSTAN 61's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Veevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Hacı Ali Ulunay with Witalis Kasiewski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 45th minute, Xu Yong Xu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İslam Yerel was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Mario Veevo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İslam Yerel in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the game Hacı Ali Ulunay made a throw-in which José Luis Esparza played forward. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yong Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witalis Kasiewski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Derman Akdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Zdzislaw Trynda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Witalis Kasiewski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, TÜRKİSTAN 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacı Ali Ulunay to maneuver through the defense. TÜRKİSTAN 61's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
